Big Joe Duskin made a lot of friends over the years.
One of my favorite stories is of Sean Carney regularly driving from Columbus to Cincinnati to pick him up, back to Columbus for a gig at the Thirsty Ear, back to
Cincinnati afterwards and then back home to Columbus again, all in the same night. As far as I'm concerned, that
is the definition of dedication. Sean's band won the 2007 International Blues Challenge in Memphis. We all know
Joe is living on in every performance Sean does.
