Welcome to BigJoeDuskin.org !!!

Our latest & greatest news:

Tickets are now on sale at www.CincyBeerfest.com for our Labor Day fireworks party and our October 9 event Hops On The Ohio !!!

Both events are on the Purple People Bridge, America's largest pedestrian-only bridge.

And they are selling fast...

Thanks to a well known local Kentucky event coordinator who will remain unnamed, the Kentucky Alcohol Bureau has taken exception with us having "open bar".  This unnamed person claims it's possible for someone to drink more than $40 in alcohol at our cost.  For the record, we have no plans to serve anyone who is obviously intoxicated.  And no one can drink $40 worth of our alcohol at our cost in 4 hours without being obviously intoxicated.

Our best wishes go out to Juanita & Philip Paul.  Juanita was rushed to the hospital on Wednesday, July 21 with a sudden infection.  As the nurses were telling Philip she had passed away, the doctors were able to revive and stabilize her.  She is doing much better, is back home and thanks everyone for their overwhelming support.  The photo below of Juanita & Philip was taken by long time friend and great guitar player Diamond Jim Dews.

The Columbus fund paid for Sean Carney and two others to teach 25 students as part of the Blues For A Cure benefit for cancer research.  Sean's band performed with Li'l Charlie Baty (of the Nightcats) and John Nemeth & his band at the main event at Northstar Golf Club.  All the details are at www.BluesForACure.com.  They do great winter and summer events, all for a great cause.

Our friends at Festivals Unlimited helped us to expand to do the Columbus Beerfest on Memorial Day weekend, May 28 & 29 at the Columbus Convention Center, where we made $3600. 90% of that stays in a fund for Columbus presentations and 10% comes to Cincinnati. The website with all the details is www.ColumbusBeerfest.com and you can join our Facebook page now at:  www.facebook.com/pages/Columbus-OH/Columbus-Beer-Festivals/230874809733
