children seems to be considered a luxury in America. Absolutely not. It is more of
a requirement than Reading, Writing and Arithmetic. Click

pages with all the info on the great things we've been doing. Since 2010, over 20,000 students have
seen our 70 performances in Greater Cincinnati elementary schools. We changed gears a bit in fall 2014 and
started writing checks to elementary schools for their music programs. We choose schools based on their state
exam scores, starting at the bottom of the list. Music education for young children improves their language,
math and science skills and these are the children who need help the most.

for an evening of "Swingin' with Count Basie" at Deer Park High School. This is the premiere performance of the Big
Joe Duskin Foundation Orchestra !!!
All proceeds benefit the Deer Park High School music program.
Deer Park's jazz ensemble will perform the first few songs, then our orchestra will perform an evening of all Count
Basie favorites, including "All Of Me", "Fly Me To The Moon", "Blues In Hoss' Flat", "Shiny Stockings" and many
